ABOUT
Founded in the 1990s in Gaziantep with yarn production, Akmert İplik adopted a visionary approach by shifting into recycling, which it foresaw as the business of the future. In line with this vision, the company established a modern PET recycling facility in Silivri, Istanbul, on a 7,200 m² area in 2014 and launched production under the SENAPET brand.
Building on this journey, GSR Granules was established with the mission of recycling PET — a major threat to our environment — and reintroducing it into industry for reuse. With a strong commitment to environmental responsibility, GSR Granules continues to expand its capacity through new investments, using advanced technologies to process waste PET and produce food-grade R-PET.
Today, under the Akmert umbrella, our brands continue to add value to both the environment and industry, while growing our investments for a sustainable future.
